Sunday School at St. Peter’s

Fr. Ian  writes: Bring your children/grandchildren to enjoy our Sunday School every  Sunday other than the first of the month, when there is a Family Service, from 10am.

Sunday School has now commenced. Children can be brought to the 10am Sung Eucharist and will be taken down to the Lounge for Sunday School during the first hymn, and return to receive a blessing at the communion rail with their parents.  Names of children can be given in advance to the Rector or Wardens, and we will ask parents to complete the usual form giving  parental consent. All Sunday School teachers and helpers will have full safeguarding clearance. We are most grateful to  the teachers and helpers, and delighted that their enthusiasm and careful preparation will enable children to get as much from churchgoing as do their parents.

  1. We are a new ice cream parlour opened just close to the church. We are open from 9.30am Monday to Saturday and 10.30am on Sundays and wondered if as one of your activities you would like to bring the children to visit us to have a talk about ice cream and some tasting. I realise this may not fit in with your Sunday worship patterns but perhaps for an holiday activity or for a special treat?I look forward to hearing from you on 01202 989090
