MONDAY 30TH OCTOBER – A CHANCE TO HELP! – alternate Mondays, 6pm-7.30pm St. Peter’s Church. We will be working again on Monday evenings with the Salvation Army from Monday 30th October when we invite the poor and homeless to come into the back of the church where, for an hour or so, we provide hot drinks and biscuits to supplement the Salvation Army hot food and the homeless can be in the dry and light as opposed to being outside in the cold and damp. Can you help by pouring tea or coffee and simply being yourself, showing them that we care? It would involve 6 – 7.30pm on alternate Mondays. If you would like to know more, please talk to Pauline Burns, Linda Whalley, John Bicker or Martin Slade … you will not regret it! Thank you.
