Keble Parishes Day

Image result for keble college oxford

KEBLE PARISHES DAY – SATURDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER – KEBLE COLLEGE OXFORD is opening its doors to all parishes with a Keble Chapel. This is an excellent opportunity to have fun and enjoy Oxford and firm-up our mutual association with John Keble, as Butterfield, the architect who built Keble College, is also the architect of St Augustin’s.
We can take cars/minibuses (depending on numbers) leaving Bournemouth around 9am.  We could pause for coffee at Hursley (Keble’s last parish before he retired with his wife to
Bournemouth), on the back road from Romsey to Winchester and be in Oxford by noon.
Lunch (£15 adult / £7 children) will be served at 12.30pm in the Hall, with either an optional tour beginning at 2pm or a couple of hours of leisure in Oxford – maybe even book a punt or three for those who fancy it!
Tea will be served at 3.30pm before Choral Evensong in the Chapel at 4.30pm. Then gently
back home after Evensong, or pause at decent pub en route for supper on the way back.
This is set to be a really enjoyable day but we need to know numbers by Monday July 31st in order to get our places secured and buses/coffees/supper booked and prices confirmed. So please contact Lisa in the office this week to register your interest.
